russia – 10 years in vogue

To celebrate 10 years of Russian Vogue, eminent and influential fashion designers/design houses were commissioned to style their own interpretation of a Matryoshka doll, more commonly known as the Russian nested Babushka dolls.

Coolography are particularly taken with the brave simplicity of the Margiela doll (above, center), and the playful elegance of Stella McCartney’s submission (top, right).
The full range will be auctioned off individually, but at an estimated final price of around €5000 each, completing the set would be an arduous task for even the most bloated of wallets.
