Photographer Clay Enos, perhaps best known for capturing music stars and everyday New Yorkers, has recently been focusing his lens on a project outside of his normal comfort zone. Having been invited to be the official set photographer on the upcoming Watchmen film, Enos not only assumed such a role for the first time, but also took it a step further by also producing the prop photography that would be used to help bring to life Alan Moore’s gritty alternative world.

Now, in the run up to the release of the long anticipated comic book adaptation, over 200 of Enos’ photographs have been collected into a hardback book documenting the absurd amount of detail put into the film’s set design and costuming. continue reading »

issey miyake TO automatic watch

Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake has unveiled another addition to his men’s watch line, the TO automatic. In typical Miyake style, the striking timepiece is a sleek blend of fashion and technology. Designed by the award winning Tokujin Yoshioka, the watch itself is more akin to a sculptural statement than a tool to count the minutes and hours.
